This will
probably be the most challenging day of the entire expedition. The climb to the
top of Tentu Pass today is steep, long and arduous. Depending on the snow
conditions, your guides will set up fixed ropes for you. Once we come to the
pass, weâll have a fantastic view of âthe other sideâ for the first time. From
the ridge, itâs a short gradual descent to our camp site.
Weâll wake
up just after midnight today. After a quick hot tea, weâll head up the mountain
in an attempt to reach the summit.. From the summit, youâll have a 360 degree
panoramic view of the peaks of the Dhauladar, Pir Panjal and Greater Himalayan

stop at summit camp for some refreshments, break camp and head back to Camp 1
for a well-earned nightâs sleep.
Today
morning weâll start the long haul down Tentu Pass towards base camp. We still
need to watch our step in the gully, but afterwards, itâll be a pleasant slide
downhill. On arriving at camp, weâll be welcomed by our base camp staff, and a
hearty, well deserved feast!
After a lazy
breakfast this morning, weâll head down to Dhundi, where a vehicle will be
waiting to take us back to hotels. Enjoy your first hot shower of the
expedition and get dressed up for the big party in the evening.
